The first season is now available in a tin box with 24 hr clock. But the cardboard packaging for the discs themselves is really horrible. All the seven discs will soon become unusable because of scratches.

There is a lot of different editions of the movie. The Germans gave us glass BATPOD (with the steelbook in case of DVD, or with regular amaray in case of BD). The Americans, Canadians, and Japanese gave us black BATPOD with BD. The Australians and the British gave us DVD with 'rubber ears'. There are some rare LE editions, like that one with Joker mask, but they are only available in some store chains, like Canadian BestBuy or whatever.

This is very nice short animated film from Roman Kachanov. It's a pity that our own local DVD production companies do not even make a step in this direction, where Japanese dare to go. This is about respect to our own films, but with their current attitude this will never come to such sets. The DVD itself, besides the 'Mitten', contains also 'Letter' and 'Mama'.

This is a bit old Japanese LE release, with a figure of Jack and a coffin-like box. The video on the DVD is not anamorphic, that results in the not-so-good quality of video. If you want image quality, go for 2008 editions, that are released all over the world, or blu-rays (which are region-locked). In contrast to recent LE editions with 35 cm talking Jack bust, this figure is much more compact.
